Saturday was a very nice day; a little chilly, but the sun was shining and it was dry. Oh, and Lauren and Dominic got engaged at Valley Forge park!

To keep the whole thing a secret in attempt to surprise Lauren, Dom’s father went to the chosen location in the park to place flowers and the sign before the happy couple arrived. As they arrived and began walking over to the spot it seemed to all be going perfectly, until a gust wind blew through knocking over the sign and flowers right in front of them! But that did not ruin anything :)

After the proposal, Lauren and Dom worked together as a team to put the sign back together. I think there may still be one missing letter but once the scene was set again, they reenacted the proposal. The way Dom envisioned it happening.

Photographing surprise proposals is definitely a fun little thing to do. This was the first time I did one where the person being surprised knew who I am though, so I had to make sure to hide extra well!

Afterwards, Lauren and Dom moved on to Seasons 52 in King of Prussia where Lauren was surprised once again as they walked to into a room filled with all their friends and family to celebrate with the newly engaged couple!
