WXPN 5k for Musicians on Call

This morning was the 2nd annual WXPN 5k benefiting Musicians on Call (MOC). Over 300 runners came out to support WXPN and their charity MOC. For those of you wondering what MOC is, it is a charity that brings local musicians into the hospitals around Philadelphia and other cities. In several hospitals in the city a volunteer will guide a local musicians through the halls stopping at each room to play a song for patients. Everyone from children to veterans get to enjoy a few minutes of music to brighten up their time in the hospital, thanks to the MOC volunteers.

This 5k run/walk earlier today had a good turn out of participants. Luckily, the weather forecast changed in favor of WXPN making it a great day for running. Take a look at my photo recap below.
